Does anyone have a write up or DIY for how to remove or adjust the position of the driver side fender on a 3rd gen prius? I bought a 2010 Prius and the back of the fender does not line up with the leading edge of the door or the headlight/bumper so I'd like to adjust the positioning.

Could be due to previous body work: the surrounding area is a bit out of alignment?

Correct, the previous owner tapped a concrete pillar when backing out of a parking garage. He said he bought a new fender, headlight and bumper and had them installed. The alignment gaps are too large, whoever put it back together did a poor job assembling it all. I'm trying to realign everything so it all lines up.

The parts that don't line up right now:
Back of fender to leading edge of front door (fender is sunken in too much)
Bumper to fender has a big gap, the bracket the bumper clips into has some broken tabs, ordered a new one.
Bottom of Headlight to fender gap isn't perfect where it curves around the base of the headlight.

I'm trying to figure out how to adjust the alignment of the fender, bumper and headlight if there is any way to fine tune the position. It's not horrible but it's annoying. Will post pics shortly.

Body shop out of the question?

Don't need a body shop, nothing to paint or fix. Just need to realign everything. With tons of gen 3 Prius running around surely someone has replaced a fender.
