Finally replaced horns on 06 Prius

    I finally got time and replaced Horns. No special modification required. Only needed following tools:

    - Flat screw drivers
    - 10mm/12mm lug nut sockets and driver

    Replacement Horns: (Purchased with suggestions from our friends @ Priuschat posts)


    Remove cover:


    Horn # 1

    Removed and installed


    Horn # 2 Installed




    I did not replace relay switch that came with new horns. It's rated 10Amp and 30? . The new horns sounds fantastic as is with existing wiring and relay switch.

    Front Grill removal not needed as I was able to pull old horns and install new horns from space between frame and front grill.
