I didn't not notice a fuel drop at all with these.

Mine have still been holding strong, but it's only been 4 months.

I'm tempted to buy some of the HIC's - Can anyone take some pics from the side on a Blizzard Pearl? Also, how easy are these to remove if I don't like them?

Hey chicken, look at these little more $$ but worth it in the looks Dept.
I'm not crazy about the stick on ones.
I think the dark smoke looks good with the white.
Like the way they go all the way down to the door window seal.
Just like there mats Weathertechs are top notch!
EZ install fits in the window channel,I have them on 3 cars!
Once you have them you will never be without them.

Since I've made my post last July, my HIC USA vent shades have stayed on without any problems, and that's with a weekly car wash with the hose spraying up underneath it when I'm washing the doors. No issues or change in sound with wind while driving. If anything, they actually helped protect my pillar/glass from a rock that hit the vent shades and nicked it pretty good, but would've hit my car if those shades weren't there.

I get my car back from the body shop this weekend, and it should be nice out so I'll take some pics of it for the side (black car, for reference to those who asked).

I can say for sure that these things generate a lot more wind noise.

I have to have the radio on louder now, and I can't hear the engine as much. I am super sensitive to the engine noise and now the wind noise is muting the engine noise a lot more.

As for MPGs, I can't tell. I think it does decrease MPGs, but it has been a lot warmer lately and it is masking the effect.

Another thing is it doesn't cover 100% the rear windows when you leave a gap in the rear windows.

Also, I does cool the cabin a bit (but only a little). I only installed these so I could crack the window when parked in the sun.

I can only crack the front windows since the rear windows aren't covered fully.

Got mine on eBay end of summer last year. The HIC set, and they shipped fast, and I've had no issues with hand or auto car washes through the fall, winter and up until now.

Just an FYI, these are NOT OEM Toyota visors. I found out the hard way after seeing your post and deciding to order them instead of the HICs. I should have been more careful when reading the product description as there is no mention of Toyota OEM at all. What showed up was some random 3rd party brand. I haven't yet installed them because I'm debating on whether I should keep bite the bullet and keep them or return them and order something else. Buyer beware that these are not Toyota OEM.

does it matter if they are OEM or not? Do they seem solid, look nice, and install easily? Then put them on and enjoy not getting wet with the window cracked open. :D

I like the HICs.....good price. Ordered direct...about $45 with free shipping. They fit well and are quite sturdy. I was hoping they would cut down on wind buffeting when driving with the drivers window down, but they don't. If the front edge would be made to extend downward quite a bit more, I believe that would help a lot.
