    Hello,
I bought a 08 package 3 Prius on 4/12 and finally had to put some gas in today.

    484 miles
    9.57 gallons at 3.659
    50.57 mpg
    48.3 on the display

    This car is pretty sweet.

Got ours on 4/15. Aren't close to the first fill, but when we do I know we won't have the mileage you do. I blame it on the crappy snowy weather, and still learning the optimum driving techniques ;)

    Congratulations.

Welcome!! Lots of good info on this site! Yes, the weather is getting better. My MPG have been going up over the last few weeks. Was able to hold at 51 during the winter. Now at 52 over the last week. That's lifetime Average.:D

    Congrats!

I've been helping my roomate look for a new car and it seems there is a large gap between the Prius/Hybrid Civic and the next most fuel efficient cars. We really did make a great choice if saving fuel, roominess, and safety were your main concerns. Nothing else seems to come close.
