Ok, since I have had some PM's and people in this thread ask/comment I will put this ? to the board:

In what scenario is it ethical, or even right/legal for a dealership to sell a car in which the airbags deployed and not disclose it? I know it is the buyers job to check things, but there has to be some onus on the dealer as there could be situation where carfax is not up to date with all information even after the fact.

I guess if there is a case where this is all good and acceptible then I have learned yet another life lesson.
