What GPS programs do you guys recommend? iGo is one? Anything else that lets you know about traffic as well? Thx!

Nick, I had done the same thing. I had not removed the screws for the CD player. Oops.

The Canadian outfit ALREADY stated that they offer NO discount for a "group buy".

    Guys,

I'm going to sell my Flyaudio unit if any of you is interested.
I will let it go for $400.00 + shipping (from Canada).

I bought it last November and barely used it so it's still new.

It's a great unit (everything works) but I bought the Ottonavi instead because I needed A2DP support.

PM me if you are insterested!

I agree with k9frog; better to use a pry tool; it's perfect.
A screwdriver might be too big and too hard and can scrap your covers.
Also put tape below and above the joints if you want to make sure.

You can try may be with something else like a flat piece of hard plastic.
Some people claim they were able to do it with a credit card...
If you know where to push, I guess that should be possible.

You have to attach the JBL audio adapter to the FlyAudio wires. Some re-wiring is needed. Did you see my pictures?

You put the adapter in behind the unit.

yes i saw the pictures, what im concerned about is how to splice the wires and grounding the brake wires ?

Also, the adapter and the gps signal, do we put in behind the unit before putting it back in ?

    thanks

Just strip the wires and cap it. I put the adaptor in behind and then put unit back in.

I put the gps on the right hand side and on top of the glove compartment.

Anybody looking to buy one? I bought it for navigation, but i never use it. I use my iPhone's navigation since I'm used to that.
I will happily go back to my original Prius II basic CD player and radio if anyone is interested in buying this off me. Thanks.

ps _ I still have the box and all the info that it came with :)
