Hi All, been some time since I was on here.

Carmine is 9 years old! And I still love driving in her.

Two days ago the car stopped recognizing the FOB via wi fi (not sure what the term is, lol). I have to insert the FOB to start the car. And I can press the buttons to unlock and lock the doors, but it doesn't work if I am just holding it in my hand.

I've been to the dealership, had a new battery put in the FOB. No change.

Any ideas? More of a nuisance than anything, don't plan to spend mega $$$ to have it fixed unless / until I learn more from all of you!

Is this what happens when the little SKS switch under the steering wheel is turned off?

Oooh good, let me check! Because I just put air in the tires, could have hit the wrong button!

Would be pretty sweet if that ends up being the problem. If not, try doing a forum search using "sks switch". About a million hits come back, hopefully somewhere in there will be a solution that someone found.

Ever consider reading through the owners manual?
