Fog Light Wattage and Type (?)

    What type of Fog Light Bulb does my 2008 Prius have? My guess would be a 9006 type lamp. What wattage would they be (OEM bulb)?

    Thanks Ken. That is exactly the information I need. I bought a set of PIAA Extreme White 9006 lamps that I want to install tonight as soon as I arrive from work. These lamps are also 51W per bulb. Just wanted to make sure, because I don't want to burn any wires after installing the PIAA's.

    I would hope a fuse would blow before wires burned, if Toyota designed it properly.... although there is that other thread with the electrical fire damage. (I know none of this applies to you since you've matched the oem power, but even if you didn't...)

    got a pair of 9006 HB4 63 smd led lights 4watts for my fog lights on my 2008 touring canada edition
    only $2.88 usd each shipped to me
    perfect brightness for my fogs, i got the 3000k, 63 smd led version
    they are a 40% brighter than the standard 55w halogen fogs they replaced

    i cant post a link since im a new member but i purchased on aliexpress search for "CYAN SOIL BAY Yellow/Amber 9006 HB4 63-SMD 66 SMD Car Driving Fog LED Bulb Lamp Lens Bright Than 33 SMD Light White Red Ice Blue"
