For PiP owners, what did you drive prior to the PiP

My housemate, who drives the PIP, drove a leased GenIII that she hated to give up, but it being a lease, acquiring this PIP was actually less expensive than buying her car. I'm leasing a 2013 Leaf SV. The last cars we both owned were a '95 Camry with about 210k on it, and a '95 Honda Civic EX.

1999 GMC Savana 12-passenger full-sized van, avg 10 MPG.

 

2008 Honda CR-V (20 mpg city). So much nicer to drive around in the neighborhood with our PiP!

 

A 2001 Subaru Legacy L Wagon (not the Outback) that was a workhorse and a great family camping car. Selling it today! And a 2006 Gen II Prius that I bought in Oregon and drove back to California. At the time, the Prius was nearly unavailable in California (yellow HOV stickers were running out). And to get the package I wanted that had VSC, I went to Oregon where VSC was bundled in the lower-price packages (it was in the top package in California at the time).

As of later today when we sell the Subaru? We will be a 2 Prius family. Don't know how the camping is going to work out...

I started with a 2001 Prius, upgraded to a 2004 Prius, upgraded again to a 2010 Prius, then finally got the 2012 Prius PHV. The past 13 years, 2 months, and 9 days have been quite fulfilling.
