I'm going to pick up the adapter when they work. As I've said before, any port in a storm.

    LOL!

There are imaginary Chevy Bolts in Colorado for about $15,000 with both state and federal incentives.

I imagined going to test drive one just the other day.

Does this make EV's without the NACS port obsolete? I'm looking for a Bolt, and things like this make me wonder if it's the right thing to do.

For me to get an EV at the price they cost now, even a Bolt, it would have to be my only car. The concern is that if everyone goes to NACS, that in 5 or 7 years from now when I'm finally finished paying off the car, will I still be able to take it everywhere I need to go and still be able to charge it faster than Level 2? Or would I be shooting myself in the foot because they'll stop installing CCS stations and maybe even stop supporting some of the ones they have now?

Never mind. I guess there may be an adapter and still many stations for a while:

I wouldn't worry about it at all. Look how long it's taking for CHAdeMO to disappear.

Personally, I wish I don't see too many Bolts at Superchargers. Reason is with its slow fast charging speed, its battery size and port location, it can be hogging two stalls for quite some time. Usually, at Superchargers, you're there for less than an 30 minutes. Going from Ottawa to Toronto, I stop once for 25 minutes, which is the time it takes us to order and eat our lunch. Most of the vehicles that were there when we arrived are gone by he time we come back. It's a quick turn around of Teslas. Someone taking a Bolt on a long trip will be there for quite some time.

Would you prefer that someone like me just stick with an ICEV until they could afford a faster charging BEV several years into the future?

For this, it is safe to say Subaru is Toyota.

I said not too many, didn't say I don't want them to be there. I'm sure you can also understand my side of the story too, right?
