Forgot parking brake when changing rear drums - prius 07

    I was changing my rear brakes but I forgot releasing the parking brakes - I put the new shoe pads and the drum doesn’t fit anymore. Not sure if it’s due to my install or the parking brake lever is causing these. My parking brake lever doesn’t have much tension like it used to after assembly though.

    So when you realized you hadn't released the parking brake, did you then release it? How would you have been able to remove the brake drum with the parking brake still set?
