Replace the left front wheel bearing on my Pious, after 144,000 miles it was screaming like Stephen Tyler in a brothel.

The bearing replacement itself was straight forward, but the retaining bolt for the abs sensor sheared.

The sensor was easy to firmly glue in position with a smear of Sikaflex. However, the VSC light is now on (no surprises there).

With the sensor has been snugly refitted I'm thinking that the sensor earth to the hub via the mounting bolt, and with the bolt missing the path to earth is absent.

Can anyone confirm this before I delve in and drill and tap a new thread?

    Cheers,

    Rich

Or is this a job for pin 4 and pin 13?

Just tried 4 and 13, worked only for a few hundred yards.
