    Hi Folks,
Posted a few weeks ago re: repairing front bumper splash panel. Thanks for all your replies.
Received great feedback on panel. Is replacing the front bumper a DIY? It seems like it snaps into place. Bumper has serious cosmetic issues. Would it be better if I bought the parts and then took it to a bodyshop?

I haven't done it yet, but hope to when I get some cash not otherwise dedicated. Doesn't look very hard if you have jack stands. You might want to get a 2-day subscription to the service manual to make it easier to locate the fasteners. I think it's $15. There are threads here about it. I don't have the time now to search it. Sorry.

Here's a Repair Manual excerpt. For part numbers I'd go to one of the online Toyota retailers, McGeorge Toyota for example.
