Front speaker replacement 2005 w/jbl

    Replaced my front speakers last night. I used a set is infinity primus pr6500cs. Instead of using the supplied crossovers I just spliced the existing wires and let the jbl amp do the work. Was a pretty easy job. I think it sounds pretty good, although it's cold as hell here and it's hard to tell what the speakers really sound like.

    Did you mount the tweeters in the same panel as door did you have mount them outside?

    after driving for a while, how does it sound? how is the bass response? jbl's roll off the best (if your a bass head) low frequencies.

    anyone else replaced their jbl's? I was thinking of swapping the 4 ohm 7" rear woofers I had in my '04, but I'm not positive the jbl amp will be able to push them without distorting.
