When I park, and let off the brake, the car will gently rock back and forth, emitting a squeaking sound as it does so from the front suspension area. I am replacing front and rear struts (195K miles on my Prius). Any idea what the squeaking could be? Thanks.

While replacing the stuts/shocks, also check the front sway bar links for the source of squeaks, happened to my high mileage prius.

Set the parking brake first and I'll bet the squeak goes away :_> Lots cheaper than new shocks (but you probably need them anyway).

Thanks. Checking the front sway bar links is a good idea. Oh, and yes, if I set the parking brake when I park there is no squeak. hehe I've done that a few times. :)
