Front turn signal lens replacement

    Is it possible to replace just the cracked front clear lens cover, or is it really necessary to replace the entire assembly? It appears the clear cover is a separate piece which has been mated in place to the remainder of the assembly.

    I just patched mine with clear RTV. A bit ugly, but it works OK. It only had a rather small hole in it, no large cracks.

    It's possible, but the assembly's are so inexpensive that you wouldn't save much, if any, money. I have a new aftermarket pair that I'd sell for $25 plus shipping, for example.

    Thanks. Got a new oem off of ebay for $17, with free shipping. It was legit part...made in Taiwan!. Difficult install.
