    Hello,

I was able to use my front windshield wipers two days ago when it was raining. I went to turn them on yesterday to use and they no longer work. This morning I replaced the fuse but they still do not work. I can hear what I believe to be the motor for the wipers running even though they do not move. Is this a common problem to have, and if so what can I do to fix it?

If you can hear the wiper motor running when turning the wipers on but wipers are not moving then linkage or is wiper gearbox (inside wiper motor assembly) is broken. This is very rare problem so used part should be ok. And you might as well just the whole thing at the same time as andrewclaus is suggesting.
