    For sure.
You could get better mileage without her ladyship but the expense would not be worth it.

Hmmm - mine is set for 25C mostly - sometimes moving up or down 0.5. 'twas 35°C (&80%) yesdy .

But in our mild winters, I turn OFF the Climate Control in the morning until her ICE fires by itself, which could be up to a km depending on where I'm heading. Then I turn her Climate on, about 20-21C. But - my winters are mild e.g. I've never seen snow in my life.

I don't hypermile often - only if the road is deserted and I'm either bored or determined.

I have mine set at 21 but have the climate setting on Eco. I only ever use ‘Normal’ drive mode and I am getting between 65 & 73 on my commute of just over 7 miles of 30-40mph limits. It has been the higher figure this week as less traffic due to half term.

In the summer I get anything from 85 to over 100 on occasions for the same journey (y)

    My car is garaged.

I don’t hypermile as I have no idea how to

Agreed! 25°C is a very hot summer day for me. Though my skin is becoming, not just water-resistant, but water repellent because of all the rain we get.

The nearest I get to hypermiling is I take my foot off the gas pedal going down hills (if there's no following traffic).

Almost 11:00pm at the moment - about 26 outside, and I'm heading to bed with the a/c on 24. We've had a week of those sort of nights, they say cooling down after tomorrow.

More like a massive fart imho. 7.4Km deep center just east of Swansea in south Wales. We didn't feel anything. The earth hasn't moved for me in a long while!

Nice! I had a week in Ft Lauderdale one May when it was record as the warmest May for many a year. 2001, I think it was. Learned all about you migrating snowbirds. :ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO:

In the advanced DIY department, for Gen2 and to a lesser extent Gen3 there was an electronic thermistor hack (many posts) that was "popular" and if faked out the Prius to reduce warm up time at low MPG.

Apparently these days we have perhaps lost these experimenters to Plug_ins so I don't think any Gen4 owners have voiced interest in trying this.

I once had my eye on a used 2012 PiP in WV I am quite sure the owner had done that hack. He was asking $21k+ (lots) and prices went down pretty fast after that. He had gotten $2500 Federal credit and $7500 WV credit (no longer avail) so he was trying to engineer a huge profit on a used PiP, and I presume he succeeded.
