Yow! That looks pretty involved. I'm not sure I want to take the chance. I'd hate for my car to come back in pieces.

I have to admit... $20 for a fillup if the prices are retarded was nice, but now I just want my 12 gallon tank with an accurate gauge!

    And to Tempus...
DAMN YOU. I'm never first

Just playin on the other reply...

Either way, just contacted my local service dept's manager and he's looking it over and he'll call me back with a time quote for the alterations. Once he replies, I'll update.

Mine falls way out of the range. I received it on July 1st. But I'm hardly ever able to put more than 9 gallons in there. Of course, here in Oregon we don't pump our own gas and the guy at the pump just lets it run until it shuts off.

Very interesting!! I was going to report that my car just picked up 2 weeks ago and built in July seemed to behave just like a regular with regards to fill ups and the gage. I was going to wait for one more fill up before I reported anything. My vin does not appear to be in the range. Anyone know how to decode these Vin's?? I was also told that the check engine O2 sensor thing was fixed and I had no check engine light I watched it like a hawk. I could have flashed for a second but if it was on for more than a minute or two I would have seen it. My brake in was atypical because of the initial 700 mile freeway drive though.

The "9 gallon" indicated limit will probably still hold true.

The fix seems to be just for those that have the blinking & warning trigger way too early.
