I picked up the F103N for the Prius last week. I also had it on my CT-200h and my MR2. The point of having it is to drain oil directly into a gallon jug. That's it. The one on my MR2 is a decade old and it's been scraped multiple times. Still works.
I know this is an old thread, but I wanted to know how your valve is working out. Is the adjustable valve necessary or would the normal straight Fumoto's work on the Prius? I have Fumoto's on other vehicles I own, but they are trucks so clearance is not much of an issue. Thanks!
The F103N sticks out a bit too far for my liking and protrudes into the plastic under cover a bit creating a small gap in the plastic. On my next oil change I'm going to switch to the non nipple version. The oil pan on this car is basically horizontal to the ground and not angled the way some oil pans are.
