    I would never have got it. It's like parental controls on the channel changer, your kids have to help you program it.

    Add a nexx controller in parallel with your existing controller. You can install an app on your smart phone to control it.

    Nexx Garage – Turn your garage door opener into a smart device

    Add the sensor to the door, and get notifications if is is open or not, and it will warn you if it was left open.

    If you enable the geo-fencing, the door will open for you when you arrive, no button needed.

    If you have alexa, in the car (like garmin speak) you can voice control it.
