    Hi Guys,
I have Prius C 2014, 91k miles and today i was going up a hill and i have noticed that when i press my gas pedal to full and during the acceleration that my gas pedal starts to shake a little, just that shake that i can feel in my leg when press it, and also i have noticed that i am losing the power of the car in more occasions, sometimes it gives the power that i am used too, and sometimes i feel like the car can't even walk on hills,
i have recently changed my Spark Plugs to Bosch double iridium since i was suffering from a disastrous mileage, what is the cause of those two issues ?

It's an electronic gas pedal, so no throttle linkage, so first step is look to see if the mounting hardware is loose and needs to be tightened. Next step would be trying to detect a different location where you feel the same shake. Has your gas mileage changed much lately?

It is only in the pedal so i think i need to check it if it is loose or not, and as for the mileage after changing the Spark Plug yes it went good again, but it is been 30 - 32 mpg within the last two month, but i never suspected anything since all my drive routs are hills and for not more than 2 - 3 miles each one since 2 month,

What your feeling is your engine stumbling, not your gas pedal. Your gas pedal is a simple variable resistor; nothing inside it spins; so there is no way for it to shake. It can be loose, not bolted down properly - but it just can't shake.

30 - 32 mpg is very low; my old PriusC got 45 mpg in freezing temperatures, with snow on the ground, and a 30 mph headwinds. Your problem may be poor fuel quality, intermittent miss due to a failing ignition coil(s) or bad spark plug(s). You may also want to check your exhaust O2 sensor, Toyota uses it to adjust your fuel mixtures. Sorry Bosh spark plugs are not known for their quality; use NGK or (ND) nippion-denso. I stopped using Bosh decades ago; when I ran into intermittent ignition issues. Swapped them out with Denso spark plugs and no more issues. I had less than 15K miles on the Bosh plugs when these issues occurred; by contrast I got more than 100k miles on the Denso. I changed them because they were due. I actually put those 100K miles plugs back into the car to troubleshoot the issue. The problems magically disappeared.

    Hope this helps

Did your clean out the throttle body?

I have noticed that from home till i get my work parking yard, it is all going up and i need most of the time press it till it reach the red zone (power zone) and i notice that if i drive long distances +20 miles, it becomes 45 - 52 mpg and if i go to the highway sometimes it reach 70 - 80, but all the problem started when i first changed my spark plug
the shake or vibration only happens when i fully press the pedal, and reach the power zone on the meter, i have been using Bosch spark plug since 2019, in 2020 check engine started and found out that the cause is the O2 sensor to fail, the specialist told me that there was a water mixed with the fuel (showed me the fuel filter and there was some water) and cleaned the whole system, i have changed my Bosch spark plug with a new one before 2 month and there the problem started very low MPG, i will try to get some denso, but it will take sometime now since i had my first born child so i need to slow down a little bit with the expenses,
as for the throttle body i haven't cleaned it since 2020 so i think i need to do it,
some specialist advised me to clean the whole fuel system (throttle, injector, spark plug, oxygen sensors and the catalyst) using the Hydrogen technology, is that legit or something or fake ?

Never heard of that. I would doubt it just because I can't think of any single substance that would help all of those separate parts.

Fuel quality can cost you efficiency.

Hybrid battery condition can cause problems.

That battery needs to be kept cool. It breathes cabin air, so the more air conditioning you use, the better. Make sure the fan and ductwork are clear so that battery can breathe.

as for the Fuel quality unfortunately my whole country deal with one supplier, so i am forced to deal with it also,
as for the HV battery i am trying to keep it cool always and the fan cleaned
