Sorry about the ads. I was LOLing when I saw the headline and watching the video. I didn't know these existed (apparently they're in Detroit) and have been there for quite some time.

I suspect this will get moved to Fred's House of Politics which I have no interest in gaining access to...

A little extreme but a man's got the right to name his store whatever he wants, I guess.

The last time I saw a President's name associated with a gas station was the hand painted signs "Nix on Gas".

Tony, is this where you fill up when in town?:D

Yet again, Trebuchet doesn't read the OP's link and just shows his agenda;) The owner has 3 stations in Detroit who decided to name "Obama" because he is a fan. The link says that the stations are a few cents cheaper then the big stations in the area. Doesn't look like prices are too bad in Michigan: the cheapest station I have found while driving up to family in NC, is a Racetrack in Clayton: this weekend, it was $3.34. In metro Atlanta, you're lucky if you see $3.49 right now.

At least his initials are BO and not BP.

It's only fair to point out that the oil companies own you and I as well. We both are trying to minimize it by driving Priuses. Until I cure my addiction, I'm hesitant to criticize anyone else for being under oil companies influence.
