    On the plus side he gave us nice look at the fuel sending unit. On the minus side...there's too many to list.

    Yikes! I could only skip through the entire thing. Definitely a shade tree mechanic, whom I wouldn't let within 50 yards of my car.
    The bacon chips in the back seat and who knows what else is asking for rodent damage in the future.

    Hmmmm - why would a tank need changing - in 64 years I've been observing cars, I've never known to be changed - except one damaged in an accident (well, the boot/trunk floor rusted out and the tank fell out!!!).

    He said the car ran over something and it drove the hot exhaust pipe up against the gas tank and by the looks of it it burnt through it.

    I can't believe the total lack of respect he has for that person's car, the way he hit the I assume open door on that pallet when he backed it onto the ramps and then ripping out all the items from the trunk and just throwing it on the ground.

    Why would this person entrust their car to a guy like this? (n)

    Many, many, many years ago I had (of all things) a Ford Pinto. That was we learned what an explosive car they could be. Middle of the night, I-80 in western Nebraska. Stopped at a rest area and smelled gas. Looked down. Saw puddle of gas forming under my tank. Grrrr!!!
