Just placed my order for the SB's!

I hope the install goes smoothly and without incident as I am not very handy! :notworthy:

Yes, all three white fasteners. A short-jaw, bent, needle-nose pliers is invaluable for this. Also, thanks for your guide, 32k!

You could use a plastic putty knife instead if you don't feel like getting it. Once you collapse the stubborn white fastener, insert in the slot and pull out enough to insert your fingers then use your hands to finish pulling out.

I think I'll just buy the set that chief showed me. I'm sure the longer I hang around these forums the more use I'll find out of the set. Thanks for the alternative idea though. (y)

A way to make a poor man's pry tool is to bunch up a paper towel in between the light and the body...it won't scratch anything, and it will keep the clip popped out until you can get the other two ;)

Took me about 30-40 minutes (because I kept forgetting to do stuff). Anyways, here is what it looks like. Im looking at some rims that Im going to get powder coated black (or gray) and then look into LEDs or at least blacking out the headlights.

Thanks. I dont know of any TSS' around here that came in BP or I might have bought that instead. The dealer I got mine from only had a winter gray (mine) and a regular light gray (dont know what color that is). I did see some at another dealer around here, but they only had 2 black ones. Also, didnt think I'd like the side molding on there, but I think it might come in handy (even though I stay away from parking lots). I already had to go to a body shop to remove a dent I got from a boulder that I hit when I opened my door. No idea why they have boulders next to parking spots, who care about scenery :)

    Can some please help!?!

I'm on step 6...what is the correct method to get the white plastic fasteners on the side to pop off? Feels and sounds like I'm tearing away from the side panel as I try to pull it loose vs. the fastener itself.

Nevermind....I tore one of the top ones off the side panel; the others came off ok. Superglue to fix I assume?

    Sorry for the noob questions....told you I wasn't handy..

The white fasteners aren't necessary so you can leave them alone. The yellow fastener on the side is required for proper installation. Not sure if the color changed for 2012.

    Straight back.

I have no idea, I didn't use a wedging tool. I just held it from the middle and slightly tugged at it back and forth. When you finally get it loose from the top, there is a plastic thing that holds the light as well as is latched on to the bumper.

Thanks guys...got it off...last question. How do I remove the bottom plastic piece that latches onto the bumper? Depress the middle or pull straight off?

I've got the lights off now and am trying to put the new pieces on the lights.
