Nice girls! Oops, back to topic. Yeah, way too much reflection there. We need better pics (of the taillights, not girls).

I see it. Its between the reverse light and the turn signal near the middle. Looks like scratches as he stated.

Ok so, either our cars are very different....or I'm blind or dumb.....or I don't know what. I've had that black under panel off all evening and have been on my back on the floor of the driver's side on and off for hours now trying to locate this relay. No clue where/what it is yet. Now I came across your post and so decided to start peeking through that space under the steering wheel....still nothing of the sort. I'm totally lost and frustrated and really close to swapping my LEDs back out. Help pls!:notworthy:

Can anyone chime in on the warranty process?

My left tail lights have a few small "bubbles" that weren't originally there like someone else has posted. I was planning on waiting to see if/when more would show up.

But now it was brought to my attention that several if the "brake" leds on the right tail light have failed. Definitely time to get them replaced under warranty.

    Thank in advance

Clear Lens/Red Chrome. It's darker red than HC. Looks especially good on Silver and Barcelona Red.

All these Valenti lights should be options for future Prius owners. I hope Toyota decides to change out those ugly stock tail lights.

I wanted the SB finish so bad that, I couldn't wait 'til the Valenti order show up in USA.
For the time been I installed an Smoke Tint Kit and I really like the finish. The contrast of the Smoked tail light on the dark gray is awesome!!!

The TT30PRI-CR-1 is the "Clear Red" unit. It's not quite as dark as the SB.

I've had the CR-1s on the car for three years now and they haven't held up well. The red color on the interior "chromed" plastic has faded and a lot of the LEDs on the back-up lights now flicker on and off. I liked them when they were new and in good working order but am now thinking about going back to the OEMs. :(

    Good to know. Thanks.

Maybe a set of G's tails would look good on Red.

I hate worrying about aftermarket LEDs .. Happened to my wife's gs300 led taillights.

That's why I just wrapped my Oem taillights

Important thing about the backup lights flickering on the Valenti:

I have sold several sets of the Valenti's in Europe. Actually there is a big problem with the white reverse LEDs that occurs over the time. On my car when I was reversing I noticed that the picture of the rear cam is flickering. But it was not the picture it was the reverse lights that flashed somehow. Checking them out closely I found only two LEDs were flashing. After a while two more started to do the same and later two more even went out.

The Valenti lamps do have several small PCBs with the LEDs and resistors on them. All PCBs have the same resistors for the red, amber and white LEDs. The white ones are in pairs on one small PCB. So I checked out the PCBs and found burnt resistors for the white LEDs. Measuring the current I noticed that the white LED have a higher draw than the amber or red ones. Unfortunately the resistors wattage on these PCBs is too low for that current. The resistors are SMD type and the ones with higher wattage are larger and do not directly fit.

Since the PCBs are connected to each other with simple wires I soldered the new resistors in the wire that connects to the PCB and bypassed the resistors on the PCB itselfs. Worked well and no problem since then.

Unfortunately I also had to do this to my customers cars as well what costed me hours. Since I modified the left ones to act as fog lights I was lucky to only repair the white ones on the right side.
