I have searched to the best of my ability, and tried every combination on a Gen 1. Is it correct that the Maintenance Mode menu for, says, checking 12V battery voltage is a Gen 2 only feature?

Could it be it requires the parking/emergency brake?

I noticed I could not disable the DRL with the e-brake, so there might be a switch issue because I know the switch goes straight to the DRL relay in the Gen 1 wiring diagram.

I know it works in a Gen 1- I just did it yesterday. Emergency brake on.

Thanks, I thought I had seen Gen 1 pics but I searched for a long time and couldn't be certain.

For future reference, here is the Gen 1 maintenance mode:
