I have my old touring wheels from my 2008 prius and would like to use them to augment the stock wheels on the Prius Two Eco my wife and I just purchased.

Plans are: Use the 15" OEM in the winter with snows, use the 16" (2008 touring wheels) in the summer

    On paper, this should work:

    2016 Prius Two: 6.5x15, 5x100, ET40 (optional 7x17, 5x100, ET40)
    2008 Touring: 6.5x15, 5x100, ET41
(source: Toyota Prius - Specs of wheel sizes, tires, PCD, Offset and Rims - Wheel-Size.com)

Once I get the car in the garage, I'll fit them up and see what I find and report back (with pictures). I don't anticipate the 1mm offset difference to cause problems, but a test fit will clear it up

I sure like that idea. The touring wheels are nice looking and a good compromise between the 15" and 17" choices.

Got the car delivered yesterday. I will try to get the wheels fitted up this weekend.

On a side not, got 56mpg average on my way to work today and to drop off my little one. That's 32 miles, about 26 on the highway. Not bad for first time out!

Just a word of caution, Iast night I discovered that Gen 3 tire pressure monitors are not compatible with the '16 Prius.

Not sure what you have on your '08 wheels- but you will need to order new '16 TPMs or get used to driving with a continuous TPMS caution light on your Gen 4.

Fitment should be fine. My Motegi Traklite 2's 16x6.5 ET 50 w/ 205-55-16's look & drive great!
    Drive safe!

Thanks for the heads up because I have a full size gen 3 spare tire with TPMs in the trunk with my Eco model.

I didn't get to test fit this weekend, too busy. But I held the hubcap up for my wife to see (her car), and she isn't sure yet which she will want for winter or summer.

Thanks for the head's up. I just run with the warning light on for winters. Or I can switch them from the 15's.
