Gen 4 cells in a Gen 2

    I am in the process of installing Gen 4 cells from a wrecked 2016 into a gen 2.

    I hope it was the base Two, as the other models are Li-Ion and the charger will not be right, as it expects NiMH, like the Two has.

    Li-ion has a history of catching fire if the charger over charges.

    They look almost identical except the top. The last two pictures show an older cell from a 2005 in front of the new ones.

    Yes, this is NiMh. The first one I ordered was Li-ion. I returned that one. It was very light and easier to handle.

    The battery works perfectly. Consistent voltage and internal resistance is even across all blocks.

    Yes, both.in the 2016 the temp sensors attach on the top but they have the ability to clip in on the bottom for use on the gen 2.
