Gen 5 Apple Digital Key

    Can anyone confirm Apple's Digital Key works with the Gen 5 vs. Android only? Here is the blurb from Toyota's site about the digital key. There is an asterisk on the site, but no footnote at the bottom of the page to show more info: 'Take advantage of what's already in your pocket. Available Remote Connect * with Digital Key * capability can detect your Bluetooth®-connected * smartphone, enabling you to lock/unlock and start/stop your Prius.'

    Nobody can confirm yet as I don't think anyone here has received their 2023 Prius. From some light googling indicates that only BMW, kia and genesis cars are compatible with Apple's key software.

    The digital key offered by Toyota is through the Toyota app and is available on the app store and Google play

    Have you tried clicking the asterisk? Footnotes come up when I do on Toyota's site.
