I just checked Adrian Black spreadsheet that I have for SGII and do not see an inverter temp for the Gen II.

    Sorry.

Thank you, I programmed in the 2 mig codes and they seem to be working
But I am not at all sure what they represent

There is no "inverter coolant temperature sensor" on Gen2, therefore no way to display it by SG-II.

I got these codes from another thread and they seem to work on my SGII. They do need the updated (4.x) firmware.

    Hi Ken,

How does the hybrid vehicle ECU know when the inverter coolant circulation is impaired, and that it needs to log DTC P0A93?

    Hi Patrick,

    I don't know. :)
But, there are only two sub code, 346:water pump malfunction and 347:cooling fan malfunction, in the DTC P0A93, no direct coolant temperature related.

How does Priidash report inverter and DC to DC converter temps if there are no sensors.

There are inverter temperature sensors for MG1, MG2 and DC-DC converter, but no coolant sensor on Gen2.

Sorry Ken your reply does not make it quite clear but there are five sensors in total.

    (1) inverter 1
    (2) inverter2
    (3) dc to dc converter
    (4) MG1
    (5) MG2

Three inverter sensors and two MG sensors, total five.

OK, I understand there are three inverter temperature sensors, but no sensor for the inverter coolant itself. That makes sense: if any of the five inverter/MG sensors exceed the high temp limit, then hopefully the skid control ECU will log an appropriate DTC.
