    Hey Guys....I realize this is probably a long/shot....but here/goes....Anyone aware of shorter hatch support struts that I can install on our Gen. III so the hatch does not open so far?.....My lovely bride cannot reach the open hatch...:( Thanks for any tips....

    It would probably be less expensive and more practical to make up a hook to grab the hatch hand pocket.

    You could also mount a pull strap on the inside of the hatch. Pick a position where it can hang down low enough to be useful yet won't get caught by the hatch when you shut it.
