Gen III Prius ~ TURN OFF!

    That accident did not involve a Prius, nor a hybrid. It was a loaner car with incorrect floormats which were not fastened down. The driver did not not know the features of his vehicle, as it was a loaner.

    Hit the brakes, shift to Neutral, then turn it off if neither is working.
