    Welcome to PriusChat!!

What make/model of OBD2 code reader are you using, as not all readers are hybrid compatible.

Are there any warning lights being displayed on the dash?

What speeds are you seeing when it slips?

Having the gas engine rev up higher than "normal" can mean that it is trying to charge a failing HV battery.
    Nothing is really "slipping" maybe.

Sounds like you might need to find a hybrid compatible code reader. Try *all* of the parts shops for a free scan, as they all have different scanners. If the bluetooth adapter is compatible, you might try the app Dr Prius or Hybrid Assistant. Many like to use a mini-vci cable with techstream (dealer tech software), you'll need a windows device with a USB port, or emulate with https://virtualbox.org
Signs of a HV battery failure. Please don't purchase a used/reconditioned battery unless from a known low mileage wreck.

I've confirmed hv battery problem block 12 &14 is there a place where I can buy new cells? A little history on the car the battery was reconditioned 2 years ago by dorman 3 cells blew up melting the thermostat wire I bought 10 used cells from eBay on a hunch that the cells were damage when I got the battery cell apart I realized 3 blown up and over half the cells were at low voltage some even at zero I bought a hobby charger to recondition some of the best cells I had all together I bought the car all the parts and the charger for 550 bucks. So far I've been babying the car around and it did fine till my girlfriend drove it I've only ever bought her sports cars so you can imagine what she did when she got in the car. I'm hoping I can find a couple of good sales to put in it while I save up for a complete rebuild of the battery. Thanks y'all

Sounds like the extra 'modules' that you purchased were of questionable quality, do you have any left?

Generally speaking, there are only used modules available, unless buying a whole assembly new from the dealership.

Best to assess what you currently have by mAh, IR and load. What kind of charger do you have?

There are a bunch of members that sell quality modules that are warrantied. Which metroplex(s) in the "Usa" are you nearest?

Well that may be true. I don't know some of the cell I reconditioned should never have been put back in. I was in a hurry to drive the car and now I'm paying for it
