Gen3 Prius Center Console

    I just purchased a 2011 Prius to replace our 2006 when finally succumbed to terminal frame rot. All is well except the center console sliding cover is not functioning as expected. It is in the "rear" sliding position, and tips up fine when lever is lifted. It will not slide forward to the closed position. When I "lift the lever" the two small pins retract - seems to be something else blocking. Any hints on troubleshooting this?

    lift the lever and try to wiggle it a bit while moving it forward. I'm thinking it's just stuck from dirt or something sticky

    Thanks for the suggestion. That is not doing it. Does anyone know if there is a secondary latch or pins that regulates the cover sliding forward/aft besides the two small locking pins on the sides?
