My tires are all Michelin, except when I run on the oems to use them up!

Winter I am currently using Xice

    Summer Energy MXV4 plus

Both in standard size. And both seem to have good LRR, as well as being quieter than oem ones.

Note that more and more cars are having power trunklid release i.e. they don't have a cable-operated release lever by the fuel door release at the driver's side.

    Help Olends!

After your post, I went out to find the manual release on my '05, and I couldn't find one!?!

Anybody else know if the 05 has a manual rear hatch release somewhere?

    Thanks!

    Love this forum!!!

    Ken

okok.. just open the hatch, remove any carpet mats you may have, unlatch the cargo net if equipped, remove the false floor. Then, towards the rear, you'll see a cover on the black storage bin. Remove that cover and feel around for the lever. It's fairly small.

Of course, you can always remove the whole black storage box if you wish but removing that cover helps you out since if the battery is dead, you'll find it easier to remove the small cover on the box than to remove the whole box.
