    I think that solar panel is made by GM, and GM has one of those in Milford Michigan

    I do not know who wrote the caption but their geography is a little poor. I don't think this is in Germany.

    1. Where are the front number plates?
    2. Too many Suburbans in the background (white, black, grey and possibly another grey on the left).

    Of course this could be a US Forces base in Germany which would explain the number of American cars in the photo.
