certainly, each has its own unique qualities which might appeal to a certain market.

Some are bad, but some bacteria will always get tossed up.
Or you could just ignore the threads you find objectionable.

Sadly, we have a better Clarity owner base here than elsewhere (plus, some are former Prius and hybrid owners so they have additional experience that can help new Clarity and new PHEVs owners)

Actually we have a fairly sanguine group with different rides and backgrounds. The biggest advantage, very few ad hominem attacks. We may not agree all the time but we fully explore the points of view.

    Waiting for Proton
By Samuel Beckett (edited by Bob Wilson)

    WILLIAMS "Let's go!"
    PULLYU "We can't."
    WILLIAMS "Why not?"
    PULLYU "We're waiting for Proton."
    WILLIAMS "(despairingly) Ah!"
    . . .
PULLYU "Why are we here, that is the question? And we are blessed in this, that we happen to know the answer. Yes, in this immense confusion one thing alone is clear. We are waiting for Proton to come. ...We are not saints, but we have kept our appointment."

Put up lid and seat, do your business, put both down, flush, put up lid... It's getting too complicated, plus touching these surfaces more than I care to. It's bad enough you get assaulted with "We aim to please, you should do also!" signs and the like.

We had a unisex can at one company: that also said "ladies, please remain seated for the whole performance".
