Just got back from test driving a Prius C.

After reading a bit here, I knew I was to expect difference.
What I didnt realize is that it sealed my fate!!

I am going back in tomorrow to seal the deal...but have to order the color/trim I want.

I am getting a C four with everything, Grey!

Yes, it was a bit different than what I am used to....
    2010 Scion xB RS 7.0
Just got rid of a 1996 Honda Accord

But I am all for paying less for gas.
I am going on 35 yrs old and we have 3 kids.
We were going to get two Prius C's but held off the
get more acquainted with the hybrids, and also to look more into the
Prius V and Prius. They would give us more room for
extended trips with the whole 5 piece family.

I am looking forward to getting my new hybrid and pissing off the people that are behind me, finally!!!!

    Thanks to all,

    Rob

    Wise and cool . . . . THAT's how I label your Prius decision.

    You're 35...that's not old.

Older...is when you get closer to 50...and suddenly have to start removing things from your diet because they give you acid reflux and keep you up all night watching Infomercials promoting either College Girls Gone Wild, or Convection Ovens that can cook frozen chickens in 20 minutes.

Wiser? ...good choice with the Prius c....but with 3 kids? I imagine a Prius or Prius v could easily be in your future as well....

    Thanks fella's....yes wiser and cooler!

Yeah, I know 35 isnt old..but older than before.

We have been using the Scion for 2 years, so I thought the Prius C wouldnt
be too far...and the tightness of the Scion we got used to.
But taking a glance at the Prius V and Prius, we decided to just start off slow. (no pun intended!)

27 mpg avg for the scion....I just want to get double and be happy:)
But I know my OCD and ADD will get the best and I will be eCono/safe/hypermiling!
Not being stupid, but just trying my best.

All just for personal gratification and pleasure.

Contrary to popular opinion, 50 isn't old, and it's the drivers that are slow, not necessarily the car.

Ok, so I decided to not wait on one of these.
I cant justify waiting either a few weeks or up to a few months,
    just for trim and color.

Dealer had said 3-5 weeks, but we all know how that goes.

So since the dealer got three of them thursday evening, and one was gone on Friday.
When I test drove the C2-super White friday afternoon, they only had
that and a Absolutely Red C3.
I came back Saturday morning and the RED was gone...
    I got the Super White.
Boy, does it look sweet all nice and shiny.
Being clean gives it a depth of color.
When it was dirty, it looked like the paint was thin.

Well, a few trips already and I am 50+
We had to go back to get my car I left... there and back
    25miles and 59.5 MPG yummy!!!!!
    Only cost $1.77
While my girl drove the Scion home, even at 27MPG
    Still cost a gallon @ $3.85

I like the look of the hub caps off.
    the black/white combo is best.

First pic I got so far!

Hold on there cowboy...I second hill and hyo silver...even us 50-somethings can come to logical decisions on "downsizing" from a Suburban to a Prius outside of our failing eyesight...;)

Good choice. I would leave the caps on as it cleans up the air flow! Without may effect your FE? H
