Giving the Gen 2 some luv (lots of pics)

    Although she only has 72k miles, this 06 is subject to the harsh south Texas environment full time now so over the holiday break my son and I to cleaned her up and give her a good detailing.

    Too bad about the stone chips on the hood tho'.

    Attention to the nooks and crannies is what a good detail is all about.

    A periodic (about once-per-year) rinse of the engine bay makes detailing time MUCH easier.

    Cable routing from the solar trickle charger to the 12v access point. Using inverter bolt for ground (near yellow connector).

    Polished up the headlights to try and stay ahead of clouding issues.

    Very very nice!
    I love the looks of a Prius after a good waxing!

    Cleaner engine bay than most new cars!
    Love the attention on the door jams, that is a must

    I like that you do the internal door frames as I do.

    I love the way it responds to such care. It makes it all worth the effort.
