GM's Volt numbers for August: Not Pretty

    Agree with almost every word, except for the part of copying the Prius.
    Doing better (from a technology point of view) is nearly impossible, and will be very difficult to have a brilliant full-hybrid or a PHEV without trailing Toyota technology. My opinion lays over the past 14 years of automotive industry. In 10 years time the gap may be narrower, but looking for the present state of development of other manufacturers, frankly, Toyota Prius will still be on top. The only "menace" are the BEVs, which are not to be mass-produced in 15 or 20 years...
    I surely look suspect, I know :rockon:
