Hi everyone. We recently had a flat on our 2012 Plug-in. The kit worked fine and, contrary to some posts I've seen, the tire repair guy didn't complain at all about cleaning out the goo when he searched for the puncture and patched the inside of the tire.
But the goo replacement itself costs $175 from Toyota, which is more than the cost of a brand new tire! Crazy.
See the picture. Does anyone have the unused Goo to sell me for a reasonable price? Or is there an OEM replacement for the Goo that's online? (I've looked, no luck). I've read that others have simply used an OTC kit for $20-$30. Have these worked for you? Thanks.
