Good video on exhaust pre-heater engine coolant leak

At 6:12 he mentions bypass, either temp or permanent. Of course dealerships will not do this, voids a pollution control. And currently status for replacement is "back order"?

 

I believe he monitors Priuschat where the bypass strategy is discussed. Mondern medicine relies on stents.

 

It would have been better if he disconnected the front and rear exhaust pipes and showed the internal leakage. The external leakage he talks about is not a typical symptom.
