Hmm, the quote is not by Longstreet.

To unmangle the quote find synonyms for separation.

The event didn't involve a Visa card.

Sometimes referred to as a high water mark.

    Shaara not Sahara.

    To explain the clues:

"... I have no seperation..." is the quote by Pickett, "General Lee, I have no division now."

Tennyson is a reference to "The Charge of the Light Brigade" another doomed charge against emplaced artillery.

Hmm, the quote is not by Longstreet.--Longstreet was one of the Generals who lead "Pickett's Charge"

To unmangle the quote find synonyms for separation.--A hint for the quote.

The event didn't involve a Visa card.--idea is a charge but not a money charge.

Sometimes referred to as a high water mark. The site is referred to as the high water mark since it is the Northernmost penetration of General Lee's army.

Shaara not Sahara. Shaara authored "Gods and Generals" about Gettysburg.

Note the arrow is at the site of Pickett's charge.

Highwater mark is what did it for me.

I am going to wait and let Poffy post. If he doesn't post by tomorrow, I will post.

While Poffy's looking, I thought I'd share an image (edit: a few) captured while google earth's cameras were pointing the other way. GoogleEarthSkySearch, anyone? :alien:

You guys are much further out there than mean. I figured it was a battlefield due to the Tennyson reference.

I'm sure this one will be simple for you guys then.

The white on the right hand side is sand.

I figured Toups would be all over it.

Well, the first clue gave it away. Revere Beach, first public beach. revere beach - Google Maps

However, I am originally from Louisiana, so the local history is still a bit foreign to me!

Been working on the income taxes so haven't had much time to play.

The only clue to start is that this is still a big item.

That would be the Tunkhannock (Nicholson) Viaduct in Nicholson Pennsylvania.

Match them side by side and you can see that its close but No Cigar, sorry and that's amusing to some in a similar situation prior to your's.

    Wildkow

p.s. Hint: size matter's. If some of the oldies get the hint don't give it up right away, let'em suffer awhile longer..

This was truly awful. I was supposed to go to bed and I ended up looking at Googlemaps for two hours. It is Madurodam -- the 1:25 scale village in the hague with the flood barrier replica.
    Madurodam - Google Maps

It is the correct site put it is at a different angle for some reason.

I'll post the new location in the morning.

No, that was comparatively easy. You should have seen the first one with miniature Lego airplanes. :biggrin1:
