That's gotta be a lighthouse, that tiny white square at the bottom edge of the cape. But I'm not enough up on famous lighthouses to know which one - or if it's the lighthouse we should be paying attention to.

Just what is casting that enormous shadow anyway? Is that a clue, Evan?

not a clue, not a shadow, that's just a different contrast with the satellite imagery.

This is a significant geopolitical point.

Oh for petes sake, it's right where my first guess thought it might be, but I didn't go look there because I didn't recognize it! It's the southern tip of Spain - Gateway to the Mediterranean Sea. Cheez! Specifically, it's the Isla de Tarifa o de las Palomas.

OK, if I don't get an image up by 3:15PM Pacific time (12 minutes from now) it's an open field. But gimme that 12 minutes first.

    Whew! That was close timing!

This should be a gimme. Considering how many entries are in this game, I'm amazed that this is this place's first appearance.

Maybe not so easy. Not sure how many employees work here, but there's no jobs. Maybe for someone trying to get through the fence?

Not any more, they've all been outsourced! Ellis Island, New York Harbor

This place has been mentioned in this game earlier, by name, but never put up as an entry - until now. Well, the resolution is a tad discouraging. Anyway, the place's name is precisely the opposite of what you'd think it should be named - but only from a landlubber's perspective.

The arrow is pointing at what makes this place significant - and no, the resolution is irrelevant

Just to point out that the significance of West Quoddy Head is not that the lighthouse looks like a candycane, or that there's even a lighthouse there, but that it is the easternmost point of the 48 states, named "West .... "

Let's go back to the movie theme idea. My wife suggested this one, here is a filming location.

It's not "American Beauty" or "Crash" either.

Given the immense quantity of movies featuring prosaic suburban neighborhoods, we're gonna need a bit more to go on, I think.

Thriller or comedy? Recent or Chaplin? Blockbuster or Bomb?

Fair enough. Let's see if I can make it not too obvious.

    Try this for a clue:

Ultimately there should be one more movie sequel than there were in the Rocky series.
