    Can you give us some direction? Famous valley historically? Famous valley geographically or geologically? Famous valley recreationally? Without something to go on it's hard to know where to begin, as I don't see anything distinctive (unless I haven't looked hard enough). Is this famous as in everybody knows, or only famous within certain circles?

    It looks like some commercial pull off. The road is a road (ie. not a railway), it looks like a parking area with a main building. Just south of the main building it looks like little cabins or houses of some sort.
    To the North there's a house with a pool...not sure if that's relevant.
    The line of larger trees curving around the area of interest is interesting...old trail, fence line, rail line???

    Thank GOD! I thought those were good clues but anything more specific would give it away...
    For the uninitiated, if you ever drive through South Dakota literally every mile or so there is a sign saying "See Wall Drug" or "Don't Miss Wall Drug" or any of about 50 variations of signs inviting tourists into their trap.

    That's okay, maddening repetition in the hints matched the destination appropriately :)
    It is kind of an interesting place. It looks like a collection of individual stores in the town, but because Wall Drug owns everything, all the stores are connected and you just walk from one into the next. We should also mention this is where all those direct mail catalogs came from (do they still do that?).
    Here's something kind of related, unfortunately the resolution isn't the greatest.
