Probably wouldnt find Placido Domingo here.
Elvis was told he should go back to truck driving after he made an appearance at the original site of this place.

I initially didnt find it because when Elvis was told to go back to truck driving, the Opry was at the Ryman Auditorium. When I looked at that it didn't fit.

    I'll post in a moment.

This pig's eye view of a parcel of gritty industrial landscape is more famous than you might think.

Puzzle is not solved as I have no idea what it is.
Shadows looked like London.Found the location just by looking for the railroad tracks .
Anyone is welcome to take it from here.

Must be my age made me think Battersea would be well known; I keep forgetting icons like this Pink Floyd "Animals" Album Cover with its inflated pig suspended between the smokestacks had become tattered garage sale fodder years before most of the world today had been born. Now there's an art form whose loss to CD and iPod technology truly has diminished us: the LP album cover (and some would argue the loss of vinyl has too). Ahh well ---

If it's any consolation to your dejection I did suspect that 'pig's eye' thing might be a 'Floyd' reference...but that got me thinking about Germany and The Wall....not that I had time to search for this particular landmark. I didn't remember that particular image though I do own that CD...and, I think, that artwork does show up on my Ipod...albeit that pig'll be mighty small!

One of these places is so accustomed to being photographed that their name is emblazoned on the roof for aerial shots.(out of view in this picture)
