Got my new baby!

    I love the look of the prius, and I have to admit the mini was a lifesaver for my
    son - must be built like a tank! He loved the 6 speed manual, and never tired of
    all that shifting. That's a 22 year old for ya! Beauty is in the eye of the beholder.
    I've always like the prius while that mini had to grow on me.

    I just like cars that either look different than most cars or have functions that are different. I love the Smart too and we were actually on the list for one, but opted for the Prius instead as the whole family fits. The Mini however feels like a small sports car, which explains why your son loves it ;)

    Yes that's what he says, and that he enjoyed the drive every time he got
    in his. It was all decked out and had a nav. system. Got him a Mazda RX8
    to replace the mini after the wreck but he says it just doesn't measure up.
    Soooo still looking for a good deal on a mini while I wait for my Prius. I
    hope I love it as much as I have my Rx300 which now has 195,000 troublefree miles on it. Was shopping for a new one when I drove a Prius and decided on
    that instead.
