GPS screen (quick) repair after hit

    Hi!
    So, I accidentally hit my gps screen with a light object, and it left a crack in the outer plastic sheet. The internal screen seems fine. I hope not to touch the internals at all, screen included.

    Is it possible to inject some kind of (capactivie or not I'm not sure how this screen is) gel, in between the screen and plastic outer sheet? Something not too liquid so it doesn't come out of the crack too much/solidifies a bit?

    you can just buy the part that is broken on ebay or wrecking yard. Don't inject any type of liquid into your electronics
