And I'll ask the same question I've asked before: what does winning look like?

Executing their dictator? Done.
Erasing their military and defense? Done.
Rebuilding their governement? Done. (Not well done, but done)


I seem to recall much joy at "mission accomplished." More joy at that statue of Saddam tumbling. More joy at his capture.

If our mission is accomplished, haven't we already won (as much as anyone in a war wins)? When we defeated Germany and Japan in WWII, we supplied aid and helped them rebuild after--but we did not remain "at war."

So, I'll chalk this entire stupid invasion/war up as a tick in the "win" column. Let's move on.

If you say that we haven't won, it's obvious that you hate America. You see winning and call it losing. (Gawd--I really love being able to do this doublespeak stuff now.)
